A Father's Promise
This amazing book is the true story of a young boy who survived WWII because he trusted his earthly and Heavenly Father. Every time I read Psalm 91 I think about this amazing story, and their faith through a horrific time.
-
American Sniper
The story of Chris Kyle, a navy seal sniper, and one of the most qualified snipers in the world. His story is amazing, but just the beginning when it comes to biographies about navy seals.
-
A Warrior's Faith
While American Sniper is the book that gave me a love for military biographies and especially Navy Seal biographies, A Warriors Faith is probably the one that changed me the most, that changed the way I saw the world and even myself.
-
Worth Dying For
What is worth dying for to you? What should be stand up for? And why do we serve others? This particular book address the why behind every patriotic heart, both military and civilian.
-
Do Hard Things
I read this one this summer, and in a world telling us we need to be comfortable, and if something is uncomfortable we shouldn’t do it, this book calls us to do hard things because those are the things that grow us.
-
The Forever Dog
After researching dog food for a few of my high school years, this book was amazing to read, it really breaks down the science and why we feed our dogs what we do, and even the cultural influence. If you want to know why, read this book if you want to just know how, read a forever dog’s life.
-
Dark Intercept
The only fiction book on this list for now, this book focuses on spiritual warfare, and is just one of those books that can change the way you see the world without bing preachy or using bullet points. There’s not graphs or charts, there are characters, and battles. (This is the first book in the series they are all amazing, and I have a really hard time saying which ones the best but you got to start with the first one to understand.)

World Religions and Cults Volumes 1-3
Yes you need to read all three, and I recommend this one to my fellow Christians especially because it breaks down how each religion views God, creation, Authority/ Revelation (where their scriptures come from), humans, sin, and salvation. Its very interesting and the point of the book is to find common ground with these religions, so when you are talking to someone you can find common ground and not just the how the religions are different and at odds with each other.
